The Problem

MooreCo is a B2B furniture company with a complex product line. They provide countless customization options to fit their customer’s needs. They wanted their website to become a sales tool that would allow customers to customize products online, versus always going straight to a sales person.

Adding an online configurator to their site would alleviate an additional touch from the sales team and expedite customer sales. They liked the idea of using ThreeKit for product 3D configuration, but needed help implementing it onto their site.

The Solution

Working through our partner Kale Ventures, Inc, a ThreeKit premier partner, we first aligned on goals and objectives with MooreCo.

Cognits then worked to define their data architecture and architected the integration with their ecommerce platform. All SKUs were mapped out with all the various configurations defined. The first 9 products (Compass product line) were configured using ThreeKit and integrated onto the site. These products went live in the Summer of 2022 and got great user reviews.

For the second phase for the Hierarchy product line, we leveraged learnings from the Compass launch to be more efficient and were able to quickly get the 37 Hierarchy product line live by end of 2022.

Cognits also launched 16 products from the Akt product line and roadmap which includes more complex Soft Seating products.

Outcomes

Cognits has successfully integrated more than 40 products onto their website. Each product line that we integrate, we get more and more efficient.
MooreCo has received good feedback from their customers on the configurator tool.
MooreCo’s sales team has been able to focus on other sales priorities.
