Cognits was founded by the visionary Ibarguen siblings in 2013. Cristobal, Sebastian, and Sophia hail from a lineage spanning five generations in Guatemala. Recognizing the untapped potential within their country, they were determined to unlock a brighter future for future generations. They wanted to empower the Guatemalan youth through technical education, and create a place that would foster growth and innovation.
What started as a training camp quickly evolved into a growing group of skilled teams specializing in UX/UI, development, devops, scrum, QA and more.

In 2021, Trevor Kale, joined the company as CEO after experiencing Cognits’ performance first-hand as a trusted vendor. As the head of the organization, his goal has been to raise the bar even higher, propelling Cognits to become a distinguished provider of high-end professional services that align with
the caliber demanded by companies in the United States – but at a fraction
of the cost.
